Official inauguration of LCI Barcelona new facilities

It's a building of 2,700 square meters on two floors. It offers a total of 20 classrooms equipped according to the needs of each area of design; two laboratories; computer rooms (AutoCAD, Cad2D, 3D CAD, Rhinoceros and more programs) and a TecnoFab (a prototyping workshop equipped with 3D printer).
More than 570 square meters are dedicated to common areas: library, study room, office area equipped exhibition area.
In total, it has the capacity to train 1,000 students each year. This new space has been designed to reflect the creative nature of the programs offered, the quality of teaching and overall educational project which is part LCI Barcelona.
On the occasion of the inauguration of LCI in Barcelona, will be present the exhibition MONTREAL> BARCELONA who propose a dialogue between some of the most significant design projects that are made in the two cities. Barcelona local designers as Curro Claret, Herraiz-Soto, David Torrents, Josep Abril, Lo Siento Studio, Lékué… and local designers from Montreal as Dikini, Alto, Yin Gao, Baillart Cardel & Fils or Studio Feed.
